BE SEEN DEAD
BE SEEN DEAD was our third solo exhibition and official launch party. The show explored the cult of dead celebrity and pop culture. Over four days people were invited to climb inside of a neon green coffin and have their picture taken. The piece explored how death impacts our own identity, mortality and our complex attitudes towards it.
Five art works shrouded the room and paid tribute to Rock & Roll legends: Lemmy, Chuck Berry, Leonard Cohen, Lou Reed and David Bowie. A playlist of tracks that inspired and influenced these artists was curated by Brendan Lynch. The show also saw a collaboration with Graffic Violenz, Brighton based florist Strange Blooms, Fentimans and 1800 Tequila.
